I think you're working with the wrong CATEGORIES. It's a UniParty. The Party PARTISANSHIP is the problem. But, of course, we see pretty much the same in every election - if the majority starts losing interest - that's the fault of the actors, the script writers, the media and the pundits - they'll get fressh blood in those positions.
